Global Warming: Helping your charity in 2010!
Welcome to 2010! We know as well as everyone else that 2009 was a brutal year for a lot of families and a lot of charities. We do our best to help where we can, but last year, our plan did not help as well as WE would have liked...we made a difference, but we did not have enough time or help to make as much of a difference as we set out to do with Global Warming Salsa.
Our normal charity fundraising plan is for us to actually do a salsa tasting and selling event at your location or venue. This works well, until we start getting shceduled to do two or more events a weekend, and that is what happened. We ended up relying on others to help us, and more often than not, we could not deliver the results we committed to: between no shows, ovepaying help, and help not performing up to our needs, we upset a couple of the charities we set out to help. That was embarrassing to us; we worked 48 weekends last year and felt like we did not do enough.
This year, we are going to use social networking and the kindness of the charities to make a difference. We are going to pick TEN different charities this year, each one will get ONE ENTIRE month to promote Global Warming Salsa to the people in their network (which costs them nothing more than a one sentence "Check these guys out, they're helping us raise money for our cause".
Every single bottle sold thru our mailorder business will generate money for the charity, payable in full at the end of the mont!. No hassles, and our guarantee that we will promote your charity to OUR networks every day for the month. It may not be as generous as a big corporation writing you a big check, but we are a two person operation, and we started Global Warming Salsa with the goal of making a difference. We created a salsa that has won 17 national awards in our first two years, it is 100% natural, 100% healthy, and 100% mouthwatering and sensory stimulating! A fun name, a great label, and a unique approach to celebrating global culture and cuisine; let us use that to help you reach your goals with your business in 2010!
