We come to you today to express our sorrow for the tragedy in Haiti.  Whether people want to believe in Global Warming or not, it is horrifying to think of the people suffering in our part of the world for any reason...nothing could have prevented the earthquake, but a lot could have been done to be prepared when something like this happens...our prayers and thoughts go to the families and volunteers doing their best to help some people get their lives in some kind of order.

We are always looking for ways to have fun with our product while doing something to help others.  There is not a lot of fun we can have at this time, but there is something we can do...we are a small company but we have a huge heart and a huge desire to be part of global solutions...no matter the scale of our assistance.

Our plan with Global Warming Salsa is to introduce Global favors of salsa celebrating world cultures and cuisines.  We just introduced three new flavors last month, each one a culinary tour of one of our favorite types of cuisines.  India, Italy, and Cajun are the newest members of the family, joining our Japanese salsa.  When we introduced the last three flavors, we thought about what we can do with each new introduction to help some cause, so we sent out a request to our Facebook friends asking for charities that benefit from donations (we had 4 total requests, that was it!  Yes, we will be in touch with all of you to promote the charity/cause.)

We selected our charity for this month ( a local food bank) but we have decided to use the month of February to promote a charity (yet to be named) that will help the people of Haiti help to rebuild their lives.  We are also going to try to introduce our Caribbean Global Flavor in February, ahead of our plan, to help boost the sales to add to the total.  Every mail order bottle, case, and candle we sell for the month of February, will have a portion of the sale go to that charity.  Please help us help them...we are not a big company, we are not asking for donations, we just want people to spread the word that we are trying to help.  We want to show people that Global Warming (Salsa) can be good for the world.  If we grow, we can do more.
